Safecity is a platform dedicated to crowd-sourcing personal narratives of sexual harassment and abuse in public spaces. This anonymous data is consolidated into interactive hot spots on a map, offering insights into localized trends. The platform's primary goal is to leverage this information to empower individuals, communities, and local authorities to pinpoint root causes of violence and develop targeted solutions.

Since its inception on December 26, 2012, Safecity has amassed over 10,000 testimonies from more than 50 cities across India, Kenya, Cameroon, Nepal, Nigeria, and Trinidad & Tobago, directly impacting over 400,000 individuals.

Legally registered as the Red Dot Foundation Global in the United States and India, Safecity is driven by a noble mission: to foster safer urban environments by advocating for equal access to public spaces, particularly for women. This is pursued through a multi-faceted approach involving crowdsourced data, community mobilization, and institutional transparency.
